
During the first 60 days of enrollment, students will participate in exploration programs designed to provide basic tools necessary to employment. Each student will be assigned a Career Development Services Specialist. They will determine career goals, educational needs, learn information technology and employability skills, basic job search techniques, and further develop a Personal Career Development Plan.
Students will become acquainted with every day living skills through participation in dormitory and recreational programs, touring area employers and the local one stop shops.
Activities may include:
Special trips to area cities
On center games, dances, movies, arts and crafts, etc.
SGA involvement
Dorm government activities
Off center movies, concerts, special trips, service learning projects,
and other learning activities
DJ club and studio
Participation in sports teams including community basketball,
softball and volleyball leagues
Community partnership and involvement in service activities.
